Imagine This
Imagine walking away from the weekend with...
A renewed connection with your spouse—emotionally, spiritually, and practically
A shared vision for the next season of life, aligned and inspired
Greater clarity about your individual purpose and how it fits within your marriage
Peace of mind from finally naming the tension that’s been quietly growing
Tools to navigate transitions—without losing yourselves or each other
Time to laugh, rest, and breathe again
A new rhythm for reconnection in the midst of everyday life
Hope—because you remembered what it’s like to be on the same team again
This isn’t just a retreat.
It’s a turning point.

Why This Retreat Exists
"What if we reached all our dreams... but lost each other in the process?"
Marriage in the Middle was born out of that question.
We’ve lived the life of movement, transition, platform, parenting, pressure. And at some point, we realized—we had everything we ever wanted... but we felt disconnected.
This retreat is a space for couples to hit pause, look each other in the eyes, and ask:
Where are we going?
What are we building?
And how do we stay connected in the middle of all of it?
It’s about slowing down to hear what God might be saying—and saying it to each other, too.
Who is this retreat for?

Encouragement for the Journey
You don’t find connection in the margins of your life. You fight for it in the middle.
The best gift you can give your marriage is time—unhurried, undivided, uninterripted.
A focused marriage doesn’t mean you do less—it means you aim for what matters most.
There is deep joy in knowing why you’re here, who you’re with, and where you’re going.
Meet Your Guides
We’re Josh and Aurielle Lindblom. 15 years of marriage, 4 kids, and a whole lot of transitions—from MLB stadiums to overseas moves to ministry and business building.
We created this retreat because we’ve lived in the "middle" seasons—the ones full of activity but often empty of connection. We know what it’s like to drift, and what it takes to come back to center. We don’t have all the answers, but we do believe in holding space for the honest conversations that bring couples back together.
